Sue Ansel is President and Chief Executive Officer. She has over 35 years of experience with Gables and has served in her current role since 2012. Sue was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2005 and prior thereto, she held position in acquisitions, development and operations. Sue is a Past Chairwoman of the National Multifamily Housing Council and she also serves as a member of its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. She serves on several other boards and committees, including the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies Policy Advisory Board and its Executive Committee, the Advisory Board for the Dallas Summer Musicals, and DePauw University’s Board of Trustees. Sue is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and a graduate of DePauw University.
