Jim is Chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Jefferson Apartment Group (JAG), which was established in 2009. Jim is responsible for corporate strategy, including all operations and investment decisions. He leads the Executive and Investment Committees, as well as JAG’s Advisory Board.

Jim is an industry veteran with over thirty-two years of experience in real estate development focused on multifamily communities. Prior to forming Jefferson Apartment Group, he was President and Managing Partner at JPI East.

Additionally, Jim serves on the Executive Committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Multifamily Leadership Board. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), as well as a variety of local real estate and charitable organizations. A graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BA in Business Administration, Finance and Economics, Jim is married and has three children.
